Wednesday-Thursday

A friend of mine had a...well let's just say an expensive ride home last week.  She was pulled over...and given not one, not two, but THREE tickets!  One was for speeding.  The second was because a guy ahead of her was stopped, turning left, so she passed him in the right lane...which just so happened to be the diamond lane.  And seeing as she is neither cab nor bus...oops!  Then the third...and this is the one that really hurt...was because as the policeman was writing her up, he noticed her licence plates were old, a bit rusty, paint peeling.  Not good! Ouch!   Listen, we must always be on our best behaviour, it's for our own good, and we all need a little reminder every once in awhile.  I guess it's something to keep in mind as we hit the road this long weekend.  The road the OPP will now be watching from above, too!
