He's super cute! He's talented and we'll be meeting him in person! American Idol runner up David Archeleta will join us next week for an interview. I can't wait to tell him how amazing I think he is. And now that he has some money ( more than we did at his age) will he be buying any big ticket items for the Holidays.

My family is small so we tend to spoil each other. Papa Rusholme gets a bottle of cologne, mama gets some clothes and for my brother James, we send a gift box to his home in Germany that is filled with things he can't buy there. Things like Kraft dinner and Oreo cookies. Now that's enough for me to never move there. I could not imagine my life without those things.

But one the most important gifts we give as the Rusholme family is the gift of Christmas to another family in need. We donate to Childrens Aids "Surrogate Santa" where another family can have a Christmas morning like fortunate others. It could be as simple as food vouchers or toys to a family where there are young children. It's hard to believe but there are thousands in the city of Toronto that will not be able to afford anything extra for Christmas and are barely getting by as it is. Donating to Surrogate has become our tradition and I encourage you to do the same. I think the best feeling in the world is waking up on Christmas morning, knowing another family is finding gifts under their tree that would not be there without you.

BTW.. One month and 3 weeks without tobacco!!
