Two public schools in the area of the Sunrise propane explosion are going to be safe to open for the first day of school Tuesday.

At an information meeting at Ancaster Public School, parents were told the school repairs are done and the school is safe to welcome back students. Downsview Secondary is a still under-going repairs. But with crews working through the week, ceiling damage is expected to be completed in time for class.
