The southbound lanes of the Don Valley Parkway were closed for three hours on Monday morning after an alleged drunk driver drove northbound in the southbound lanes, hitting two other vehicles north of the Bayview/Bloor exit.

The black Toyota Corolla clipped a southbound Mercedes, spinning it around, then narrowly missed two other vehicles before slamming head-on into a Hyundai Tucson SUV.

The two people inside the SUV, along with the driver of the Corolla, who was trapped for a period of time, were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
