Amber Gero's report on the seatbelt campaign

The Provincial Seat Belt Campaign begins today and runs until October 12^th.

It's designed to raise public awareness of the need for everyone riding in motor vehicles to wear proper restraints.

Use of seatbelts is the best way to reduce injuries and deaths in crashes.

Toronto police say they will be highlighting the proper use of car seats for children.

The campaign will also involve enforcement of the seat belt law.
