Not since March have motorists in Toronto paid this little for gasoline.

Today's most common price for lowest grade is $1.05.2. That's down 4.5 cents from Monday, but down about 33 cents from mid September's record.    

This occurred after oil hit an 8-month low Monday, dropping more than 2 dollars a barrel to below 90, and then early today falling to below 88.  That's a 40 percent drop since the record of $147 in July.
