SickKids Radiothon 2008

Michael visits SickKids about every 3 months and is followed by a medical team led by geneticist Dr. Alan Berzen. Michael's life is filled with doctors' appointments, blood work, urine testing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

This past fall, Ten-year-old Madison was starring in the Stratford Theatre production– a dream for this budding actress. Unfortunately, her performances were cut short as she was diagnosed with leukemia in the middle of the season.

With the help of her family, this selfless little girl founded Shania’s Sunflower of Hope. So far, her efforts have raised more than $60,000. Though her struggle with cancer was lost, her shining spirit and legacy will remain forever.
