HAPPY BIRTHAVERSARY!!

The first week of July is a busy one at our house.  My wife and I were married on Canada Day, my birthday is the 3rd and my wife's... the 4th.  It's funny when I think about when we first met, how blown away we were that our birthdays were a day apart.  Well,  6 yrs and 24 hours to be exact.  My wife snagged a younger man!!  She seemed to get a kick out of that in the early stages of our relationship.  lol.

After 8 years the birthday/anniversary combo actually works well for the pocket book.  Rather than go crazy buying presents for each other every year, we just pick a night that week and have a nice dinner while exchanging cards.  It seems to work well for us and it's our special time.  In most cases a week off work for the two of us is usually close by as well.  I actually find it brings us closer to one another knowing that we share this week together.  So to all who read this and can relate, I wish the best for you and your "special someone".  Cheers and thanks for the well wishes!
